What is a SELT?

1. Family & Settlement Route (GESE)
Focus: Speaking and Listening Only
Further Leave to Remain (A1): For initial visa applications.
Test: GESE Grade 2 (6-minute exam).
Visa Extension (A2): For non-EEA nationals after 2.5 years in the UK.
Test: GESE Grade 3 (7-minute exam).
Settlement / British Citizenship (B1): For Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or Naturalisation.
Test: GESE Grade 5 (10-minute exam).

2. Academic & Professional Route (ISE)
